Veterans Day History In Dallas:

In 1998 the veteran community re-established The Dallas Veterans Day Parade. The organization was incorporated in January 2000 and an IRS 501 (c) (3) rating was granted that same year. The organization is comprised of a cross section of elected veteran organization leaders of all ranks and service branches. Attention was also given to the qualifications and performance record of those elected to lead the organization.

The National Veterans Day Committee of the Department of Veterans Affairs, in Washington, has again, this year, selected Dallas as a Regional Site for the observance of Veterans Day. Click HERE to see all of the nationally recognized Regional Sites.
